Everything is open. I'm sure there is a bug open about you in Microsoft and there are discussions happening, but all behind closed doors.<BR/><BR/>Eclipse is open. You get to see everything and you feel involved. In fact you are encouraged to be involved. You don't get that with closed proprietary software vendors.
